Promote the well-being of children with cancer and their families
In Portugal, each year, around 400 families hear the words no one wants to hear: “Your child has cancer.”

Donations made to Acreditar are eligible for the tax benefits provided under the Sponsorship Statute, meaning they are deductible from personal or corporate income tax. Recognized as a Public Utility Legal Entity, Acreditar operates under the Sponsorship Law.
Under this Statute, donations made to IPSS are considered operating costs or losses at 140% of their value, up to a limit of 8/1000 of turnover (or in full if intended for activities or programs of higher social interest). The same rules apply to in-kind donations.
