We are Barnabés because we were diagnosed with cancer up to the age of 25. We give a voice to those who face cancer head-on. We are hope, courage, and resilience. We are children, young people, and adults. We are students, nurses, painters, and athletes. We are Rita, João, and Marta. We are a family where sharing has no limits.
Together, at Acreditar, we engage in:
Training programs focused on the (re)definition of life projects and on survivorship-related topics such as fertility, rights, mental health, emotional intelligence, among others.
Whether at a regional or national level, we share our story, build new friendships, and envision the future together as a group. Our story is the best icebreaker for any occasion.
We share, in the first person, our journey through hospitals and in awareness-raising actions and advocacy for our rights.
We work together to drive change at multiple levels in Pediatric Oncology (hospitals, society, and law).
Summer camps, trips to Disneyland Paris, outings, picnics, and trips to the cinema. We always keep pace with joy, sharing, and togetherness.
